Movement disorders are a group of nerve system (neurological) conditions that cause either decreased or slowed motions, or increased movements. Movements can be both involuntary and voluntary. Movement disorders can be characterized by slower or more frequent movements. They could affect your judgment or cause you to behave erratically. There are several irregularities of movement. Parkinson's disease, restless legs syndrome, and essential tremor are a few of the most common ones. Aberrant motions are caused by a class of neurological conditions known as movement disorders. In addition to slower or fewer frequent movements, there could also be jerky, shaking, or spastic motions. They could cause uncontrollable, involuntary motions or affect your voluntary behaviors.
